All of our dyes are GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified organic, NODS (Natural Organic Dye Standard) and all-natural. We whiten our textiles using oxygen. We only use natural dyes - made from plants, flowers, fruits, vegetables or minerals. Everything we use is non-toxic, biodegradable, low impact, contain zero heavy metals, insects and produces zero waste water.

Our products are made from high-quality and premium European flax linen materials, designed for maximum comfort and durability. We prioritize softness, breathability, and long-lasting wear in all our undergarments.

All of our products are made of Organic, Chemical-Free, Bleach-Free and Dye-Free Flax from Belgium. Our products are manufactured in California.

All HEAVENLY ESSENTIALS products can be hand or machine-washed. Hand washing will help to extend the life of your garment, and is also much more gentle on the environment. We recommend using a wash bag in cool water and laying flat dry - reducing energy and also better for your undies.

Heavenly Essentials underwear are both home compostable and compostable in industrial settings. We worked with Westside Compost to verify our underwear will return to Earth in only 2 weeks. Our underwear is a unique combination of 100% GOTS certified organic flax linen, organic linen thread, and flax/natural tree rubber elastics, that make them one of the world's only compostable underwear. Note that home compost times may vary, due to your own compost's unique moisture and microbiome environment.

Heavenly Essentials underwear is 100% home and commercially compostable! Made from a unique combination of plant-based materials, Heavenly Essentials panties compost in approximately 2 weeks (temperature, microbiome compost composition dependent). Simply wash, cut up and pop in the compost! 

HEAVENLY underwear, tees and basics will never biodegrade while wearing or washing them. They are actually designed to be stronger and last longer than conventional basics. Only when your basics time is ultimately up, we recommend composting them vs. throwing in the trash (which ends up in the landfill).
