Our fabrics are GOTS certified organic. Our white fabrics are exclusively whitened using oxygen and are free from bleach and harmful chemicals. All colors use natural, plant-based dyes.

We only use natural dyes - made from plants, flowers, fruits, vegetables and/or minerals. All of our dyes are GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified organic, NODS (Natural Organic Dye Standard) and all-natural. Everything we use is non-toxic, biodegradable, low impact, contain zero heavy metals, no insects and produces zero waste water.

All of our products are made from Organic, Chemical-free, Bleach-free and Chemical-free Flax from France. Our products are manufactured in Europe and sewn locally in the USA.

All HEAVENLY ESSENTIALS items can be hand or machine-washed, on gentle cycle only. If using a washing machine, it must be set on delicate cycle setting. Hand washing will help to extend the life of your garment, and is also more gentle on the environment. We recommend using a wash bag in cool water and laying flat dry - reducing energy and also better for your undies longevity.

Avoid using bleach or chemical detergents. To Whiten & Brighten your Heavenlies, we recommend a bleach-free alternative, like natural Oxygen Whitener, that can be added to the wash cycle. If your garments become 'sheer' over time, we recommend washing and putting in the dryer (when damp) for 10-15 minutes, on the lowest heat setting, so the fibers can expand and thicken.

Heavenly Essentials underwear is a unique combination of 100% GOTS certified organic flax linen, organic linen thread, and flax/natural tree rubber elastics- making them one of the world's only compostable underwear. Please note that home compost times may vary, due to your compost's unique moisture and microbiome environment.

Heavenly Essentials underwear are 100% home and commercially compostable! Made from a unique combination of plant-based materials, our panties compost in approximately 2 weeks (temperature, microbiome compost composition dependent). Simply wash, cut up and plant in the compost! 

Natural flax fibers can last up to three times longer than synthetics, cotton or other materials, making them a great investment! With gentle wash and care, Heavenly Essentials are designed to be stronger and last longer than conventional clothing.

Flax is the most durable natural fiber to exist. After years of love and wear, we recommend planting them in the compost. A fully regenerative garment!

Heavenly Essentials underwear, tees and essentials will never biodegrade while wearing or washing them. Only when your heavenlies time is up, we recommend planting them vs. throwing in the trash. Made from flax (plant-based) when planted turn back to Earth in as fast as two weeks.
